Right of withdrawal

  1. When purchasing products, the consumer has the option to return the product without giving any reason for 14 days. This period starts on the day after the consumer receives the product.
    1. a. Products from the Fire Sale that are marked as "damaged" are excluded from the right of withdrawal and cannot be exchanged or returned.
  2. During the 14 day period, the consumer will handle the product and packaging carefully. He will only unpack or use the product to the extent that is necessary to assess whether he wishes to keep the product. If he makes use of his right of withdrawal, he will return the product with all accessories and - if reasonably possible - in the original condition and packaging to Tim's Classic Parts, in accordance with the reasonable and clear instructions provided by Tim's Classic Parts. Please always include the order number!
  3. If the consumer wishes to make use of his right of withdrawal, he is obliged to inform Tim's Classic Partswithin 14 days of receipt of the product. The consumer must make this known by sending an email to info@timsclassicparts.nl. After the consumer has made it known that he wishes to make use of his right of withdrawal, the customer must return the product within 14 days. The consumer must prove that the delivered goods have been returned in time, for example by means of a proof of shipment.
    Important: fill out the returns form as completely as possible and add it to the package! The return may not be processed without a return form. Download a returns form. 
  4. If the customer has not made it known that he wishes to make use of his right of withdrawal or withdrawal after the expiry of the periods mentioned in paragraphs 2 and 3 and if the product has not been returned to Tim's Classic Parts, the purchase is a fact.

Costs in case of withdrawal

  1. If the consumer makes use of his right of withdrawal, the maximum costs of shipment (increased by the statutory VAT) to the consumer and/or return to the seller will be borne by the consumer.
  2. If the consumer has paid an amount, Tim's Classic Partswill refund this amount as soon as possible but no later than 14 days after cancellation. However, the condition is that the product has already been received back by the merchant or conclusive proof of complete return can be submitted.
  3. In the event of a claim, the chosen insurance will determine which costs will be reimbursed.
  4. If it concerns a specially ordered product, up to 25% of the purchase amount can be deducted as restocking fee in case of withdrawal. For standard products, up to 15% of the purchase amount can be deducted as restocking fee in case of withdrawal.

Exchanging

  1. In the event that the consumer wishes to exchange an item, the consumer must make this known by sending an email to info@timsclassicparts.nl and the consumer must return the purchased item within 14 days of purchase.
  2. After receipt of the item, a replacement item will be sent of the same value or in consultation with a refund or additional payment.

Damage during shipping

  1. In the event of damage during the shipment of the product, the consumer must make this known as soon as possible, but within 7 days after receiving the product, by sending an email to info@timsclassicparts.nl.
  2. If the damage is established immediately after receipt, the product may no longer be installed, processed or used.

What to do in case of damage during shipment?

In the event of damage, we always request specific photos of the contents of the shipment, these are necessary to be able to assess the damage properly and completely. With an insured shipment, this information is also necessary to start the claim process.

It is wise to keep the damaged items, the shipping box and the packaging material until the damage report has been fully processed.

We always need the following photos for further processing:

  • photo of the entire package with the package label visible
  • photo of an opened package where the contents and the inner packaging in the package are clearly visible
  • photos of all types of inner packaging
  • photo of the entire scope of the product
  • detail photo/close-up of the damage of the article
