With this plug and play add-on you can upgrade your oldtimer BMW center panel to allow charging USB-A or USB-C accessories. The charger supports fast charging (up to 24W / 3.4A) of iPhones as well as standard mobile phones / smartphones (fast charging protocols supported: BC1.2 QC2.0, QC3.0, FCP, AFC, SFCP….).
Module is very easy to install and it does not require any special tools. Everything can be done in only 10 minutes: just pop out old button or blank trim, push the charger inside and connect wires using provided quick connectors to existing cigarette lighter socket.
The chargers are designed in a way that no soldering or crimping is needed and you keep the 12V auxiliary port (cigarette lighter) functional. Front face is made with textured finish matching the rest of the dashboard. You can choose between single (1x) and double (2x) USB ports. The double charger ports have each 24W / 3.4A charging power.
